Kryton is the 36th element in the periodic table and it is part of the noble gasses. They are a group of gasses which doesn't/barely react with any other element. This is because their outer shell is filled with electrons. Krypton is a colorless, odorless, tasteless gas which occurs in small amounts in the atmosphere. Krypton is mostly used for fluorescent lights and some flash lamps used for high-speed photography. Krypton is one of the rarest gasses on earth, composing only 1 part per million of the atmosphere. Krypton was discovered in 1898 by Sir William Ramsay, a Scottish chemist, and Morris Travers, an English chemist. Krypton got it's name from the Greek word 'kryptos' meaning hidden.
