Selenium is a powerful mineral that is essential for the proper functioning of your body. It helps the human body's metabolism a lot. Selenium is quite a rare metal, it is only found in a few places. Most of the selenium obtained during the refining of copper. This element was discovered by Jöns Jacob Berzelius, a Swedish chemist, in 1817.
